Korbuild achieves Passive Fire Protection recognition

Thank you to all staff members involved in the past few months in gaining our third-party Passive Fire Accreditation with UKAS member IFC (international Fire Consultants Ltd).
After undergoing a rigorous audit process, both at office and site level, our competency has now been validated in the following areas

Suspended ceilings

Soffit protection-i.e promat, Kingspan to plantroom soffits

Above ceiling fire barriers

Internal cavity barriers

External cavity barrier – i.e Fire socks, Rockwool TCB barriers.

Protection of steelwork (Boards, not intumescent paint)
